Limited Control Over Ice & Snow: Because of the other part of his heritage, the half human(witch) part, he has gained limited control over ice and snow due to his mother's innate ability as an elemental witch.

People from his father's troll 'clan' finding him. They don't take too kindly to half-breeds.

History:
Despite not living as long as others have, Glen has lived an action packed and frustrating, to say the least, life. Being both a troll and a witch was hard for him growing up as neither worlds accepted him into their folds. Either rejecting him completely as the witches did, or wanting to hunt him and keep him as an example as to why trolls shouldn't mate with other species. Especially humans. From a young age Glen always showed his strength as well as his natural ability with ice and snow, as he did not feel the cold. But he also showed something else. 
Most days Glen's mother would find him in her room, or in his half-sister's room wearing dresses, skirts and a lot of make up. He looked like a girl. He never grew out of this.

His mother started buying him dresses to wear, but she also had to buy him boys clothing as well for when he didn't want to wear girls clothing and he wanted to be a boy that day. It was a good disguise when the trolls came to attack their village, going from looking like a boy to looking like a girl, but it didn't disguise their smell. Glen and his mother ran, his half-sister staying behind with the rest of the coven to fight against the large, lumbering beasts. 
They went back a day later when the trolls had left. 

Everything was destroyed. 

They gathered what they could, stepping over the bodies of those that had died, including Glen's half-sister, and they started a new life in a new village. And when Glen was old enough, his mother sent him away to Otherworlde, to help him control his powers and avenge all those people's deaths. Instead he decided to do potions, where he could poison people instead of learning to control his ice and snow abilities.
After all, poisoning people was much less messy.

Misc Information: 
Glen/Glenda is generfluid. One day he will feel like a boy, another day he will feel like a girl. Most days it's a girl. He likes confusing people with this though. 
His birthday is June 20th
